Our vision is to organically grow a dynamic Muslim community and to create an environment that is conducive to the spiritual, mental and physical well-being of our community.

Sakinah Institute hosts a weekly Qur'anic Tafsir class for sisters only, taught by Ustadha Kiashe Pugh. The class is currently meeting virtually on Zoom, every Sunday at 11am ET.

Sakinah Institute hosts community programs geared towards the betterment of the community. Past programs include topics such as community building, psycho-spiritual wellness, and the American-Muslim identity. Speakers have included Imam Zaid Shakir, Shaykh Hamza Maqbool, Sidi Ibn Ali Miller, and Dr. Menahal Begawala. Keep an eye out for announcements of upcoming programs!
